The location of Aka Central Park is marvelous and amazing, being close to Wollman Skating Rink. the area is nice and within walking distance of many attractions such as the Park, the Plaza, Bergdorf's, and the subway.

The staff there was superlative. Very nice people. The A-Cafe was fantastic. The young people who work there were really sweet and did their best to take good care of us. We came there with our daughter for a ballet competition and so it was rather stressful for us but the hotel was a great home to come home to for our week in the city. The gym was well equipped and very clean. The door man is a always happy to see us and makes us feel welcome.
My comments here aren't much-- the A-Lounge was out of service while we were there and so we had a cocktail at the Plaza across the street but still it would have been nice to have had it there to go to instead.

good value for money
terrible street noise, very disturbed night as a result. Staff say they are aware of problem (garbage collection at 4am, etc) and are reglazing hotel windows but this is a lengthy process
