Pal'ea is a tuskarr village found in the Borean Tundra. It was founded by the tuskarr explorer named Shomko.[2] The tuskarr houses here looked like the skeletons of beached whales, and the village is watched over by the biggest stone elder of any tuskarr village in Northrend. It may well be Pal'ea will always bear the scar of having been destroyed and rebuilt.[1]
During the war against the Lich King, the village was in ruins, completely overrun with kvaldir and choked with their foul mists. Its people were almost all slain, leaving only a few survivors.
Following the war against the Jailer, the brothers Bronzebeard reported that the tuskarr managed to retake Pal'ea. When they visited it, they were still building, making it bigger than before. When they arrived, the tuskarr were a wee bit nervous, but as soon as they realized they were too short to be kvaldir, most of that wariness dissipated and all of them shared a fine meal.[1]
