Matron Mother Malevolence is a shivarra located at the Seat of Command and Illidari Foothold on Mardum.
She is accompanied by Priestesses of Delight, Shivarra Destroyers, and Priestesses of Dementia. By her own admission, she joined the Illidari with other shivarra after Illidan defeated their former leader, Magtheridon[1] because she considered Sargeras "a bore" and felt that there was no fun in his goal to destroy all life.

- During demon hunter's quest [10-45] The Arcane Way it is revealed, that she had a liaison with Archmage Lan'dalock somehow.
- Her title is a likely reference to the Matron Mothers found in Forgotten Realms lore, the powerful leaders of the matriarchal drow.
- She has an invisible Follower recruiting spell with the following description: Champion: Matron Mother Malevolence — "Malevolence has proven herself time and again to be an invaluable ally. It is an absolutely certainty that if it weren't for her, you would not be standing here. Her leadership skills are matched only by her mastery of demonic magic." The spell is associated to a buff that says "Matron Mother Malevolence is a master of fel magic, tactics, and inflicting pain."
