- Temporal Illusion

Temporal Illusion is a passive buff rewarded inside the Escape from Durnholde Keep, Opening the Dark Portal, Culling of Stratholme and Well of Eternity instances in the Caverns of Time.
In the first three of these instances (all except Well of Eternity), it is applied to all characters who are not humans, dwarves, gnomes or worgen, turning them into a human, dwarf, or gnome at random.
The Well of Eternity version of this buff makes all characters appear as night elves.
Patch changes[]
Patch 9.0.1 (2020-10-13): The character tooltip now changes to match their apparent race. 
Patch 6.0.2 (2014-10-14): Renamed from Human Illusion. Now turns the character into a human, dwarf, or gnome at random if they aren't already a member of one of these three races (or a worgen). Previously, all characters that were not humans, dwarves, gnomes or worgen appeared as humans. - Patch 4.0.6 (2011-02-08): Worgen are no longer affected by Human Illusion, as it prevented the use of
[Running Wild]. - Patch 2.0.3 (2007-01-09): Added.
