Garek is a high elf quest giver located in a small camp south of the Dustwind Gulch in the Badlands. He had been sent on a secret mission by Krasus of the Kirin Tor, involving the wakening and slaying of two black drakes.
He has been missing since the Cataclysm, and where he has gone remains a mystery.
