Azmerloth

Azmerloth is an alternate universe of Azeroth where everyone is a murloc. It is visited during the Temporal Conflux storyline of Thaldraszus,^[1] where adventurers are teleported to the Mrrglblight, local equivalent of the Dragonblight, during the local time of the Dragon Soul raid.

Azmerloth has its own Alliance and Horde equivalents, respectively led by Varian Wryngrrlgulgll and Thrallgrulgulgul. They oppose Deathwingurlugull. Perhaps surprisingly, these murlocs have mastered flight, for gunships and gyrocopters can be seen during the battle, including the Finning Furies squadron.

Later, time rifts tore into Azmerloth and brought Finduin Wryngrrlgulgll, High Tide-King of Azmerloth, into Azeroth. Finduin requested help from Ironormu with repairing his sword, Seashellamayne, damaged by the magic that brought him here.^[2] Ironormu agreed to help him fix it because the fate of Azmerloth depended on it. After Ironormu repaired it, Finduin invited the dragon and the adventurer to Azmerloth, which the dragon kindly declined. Finduin then went to Temporal Investigator Tempo to return him to his proper timeline.^[3]

More murlocs from Azmerloth were thrown into Azeroth through the rifts and appeared in Tyrhold Reservoir, including Alulgultasza de Urgl-Blalul, Gillidan, and the members of the Krrrn Trr, Cenrrrn Cirrgl, and MR-7.
