Hi, I saw that you gave patrol rights to Viswaprabha and you stated that s(he) is a trusted user. S(he) can be trusted, but it is just the same if s(he) don't know how to edit Wikidata. Import a gadget from Spanish Wikipedia

In Spanish Wikipedia we have this Gadget. It shows the history and all specials pages (like contributions) as a numbered list. Can you import it? Please add the code in this page MediaWiki:Gadget-historyNumbered.css, the description in MediaWiki:Gadget-historyNumbered

Witaj. Zastanawiam się czy właściwe jest obecne tłumaczenie "Statements" jako "Oświadczenia". Nie jestem specjalista od baz danych, ale wg mnie właściwszą nazwą byłoby "Deklaracje". Co o tym sądzisz? Pozostaje jeszcze "Claim" - chodzi oczywiście o poniższy kontekst:

Też to niedawno zauważyłem, dopytałem się i wiem :) Wkrótce ma być dodane wsparcie dla przechowywania informacji o statusie FA/GA itp. artykułów na poszczególnych stronach i te dodatkowe bajty to efekt zmian w wewnętrznej strukturze przechowywanych danych. Hi, on Polish wikipedia there exists an item Nabila Chibab and Nabila Chihab. The second one is correct, the first can be deleted as an obvious error. Hm, ten tekst bierze się z MediaWiki:Aboutsite/pl, a konkretnie z użytej tam konstrukcji {{GRAMMAR:MS.lp|{{SITENAME}}}}.

Zakładając, że masz na myśli w ogólnym przypadku, to raczej się nie da. Wartość {{SITENAME}} to wartość zmiennej konfiguracyjnej $wgSitename, nieprzetłumaczalnej i zdefiniowanej tu: [1] (uwaga, duża strona). Wartości generowane przez {{GRAMMAR:}} można modyfikować w tym pliku: [2] i można by teoretycznie odmieniać „Wikidata” jako „Wikidane”, „Wikidanych”, …, ale {{SITENAME}} i $wgSitename są często używane bez tego, więc można to wyjść trochę śmiesznie.

Natomiast jeśli chodzi ci o to konkretne wystąpienie, to można po prostu zmodyfikować MediaWiki:Aboutsite/pl, żeby było tak, jak chcesz :) Matma Rex (talk) 18:19, 21 May 2014 (UTC)

Merge-project requiring language skills

Dear Wikidatan,

Even though Wikidata phase 1 (replacing interlanguage by Wikidata) is officially finished, there are still a lot a duplicate items that should be merged. Projects to list possible duplicates (and therefore possible mergers) have been started by users such as Pasleim with User:Pasleim/projectmerge and Ivan A. Krestinin with User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge. Those bot-generated lists do however contain quite some false positives and therefore still need a human eye to decide whether to merge or not.

Since you are an administrator on Wikidata with knowledge of the Polish language, User:Ivan A. Krestinin/To merge/plwiki might benefit from your help. As said, it lists couples of WD items that might possibly be merged. If you are already involved in these projects or not interested, I am sincerely sorry for bothering you.

Czy jest gdzieś polskojęzyczna instrukcja odnośnie przyjęcia wikinews do wikidanych? Czy aby na pewno w jedynym elemencie powinni być łączeni administratorzy wikipedii i wikinews? Edytowanie, wykorzystywanie, przeglądanie i przetwarzanie danych jest w pełni wielojęzyczne. Dane wprowadzone w jednym języku są natychmiast dostępne we wszystkich pozostałych językach. Edytowanie jest możliwe w dowolnym języku." na coś w stylu. "Pewne części systemu są wielojęzyczne ale podstawowym językiem komunikacji jest angielski i jego znajomość jest konieczna." No tak, ale w środku jest porównawczy równoważnik zdania i orzeczenie jest obecne domyślnie, czyli należałoby traktować je tak, jakby tam było: Jeśli nie wiesz, jak to [ masz | możesz | powinieneś ] zrobić, przeczytaj (...).
