Damn good thing this game won and congratulations to Nintendo by all means. Developers are getting extremely lazy when it comes to games for the Nintendo Wii system and Super Mario Galaxy is probably the only well made, polished all rounder for the system so it's a sigh of a relief it won. Hopefully we'll see it win other awards? Fingers crossed.

I'm surprised The Orange Box got over Halo 3 though; Probably because they didn't try the multiplayer. Or maybe it was because of Portal, that game is the whole reason I WANT The Orange Box. I'm surprised to see Halo 3 up for overall best and not another title, like Mass Effect, Rock Band, Bioshock or Uncharted, just to name a few. I have to agree with their overall award going to Super Mario Galaxy. Well, can't wait to see the competition next year, what with No More Heroes, SSBB, Gears of War 2. Hmm, come to think of it, looks like we'll be going into a bit of a drought of quality games again for a while.
