The market size of landscaping services totaled approximately 154 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, with the top three landscaping services companies in the United States all generating an annual revenue of almost five billion U.S. dollars in 2023. With these services in such high demand, the number of landscaping and groundskeeping workers increased by roughly 15,000 between 2022 and 2023, with mean annual wages also increasing year-on-year since 2013. This could suggest a saturated market for basic landscaping services, implying that leading landscaping companies in North America should diversify their range of services in order to further increase their already significant combined revenue that was generated in 2023.
