Berlin, Munich, and Hamburg recorded the highest volume of office real estate transacted in Germany in 2022. In Berlin, the total office take-up amounted to nearly 21 million square meters, while Munich and Hamburg saw about 14 million square meters each. Across the 19 markets ranked, the floor space newly rented or sold amounted to approximately 82 million square meters. Though Frankfurt ranked fourth by take-up, it was the most expensive city to rent an office space.
