Knab is an financial service provider in the Netherlands that has no offices and solely operates online. Originally, Knab started out as a bank but in recent years it also offers insurances and mortgages. It uses an app and an online forum to let customers advise each other in the form of a community. It is part of insurance company Aegon, which was one of Knab's founding partners and helped the online platform to get a banking license. As of 2018, Knab was entrusted approximately 4.7 billion euros worth in assets by their clients. The platform's target audience includes private individuals but also SMEs and self-employed people.

Knab is one of several examples of Fintech in the Netherlands, with Adyen, the Amsterdam-based payments provider for Netflix, Facebook, Uber and Spotify, being the most famous. Adyen is widely regarded as one of the few European fintech "unicorns", a venture capital-backed, private business worth over one billion U.S. dollars. In 2017, Adyen's revenue reached 1,012 million euros.
