Perceptions on the health care system in Mexico 2024
According to a survey conducted in Mexico in 2024, only 36 percent of respondents said they trusted their country's health care system to provide the best health treatment. Moreover, 76 percent of interviewees stated that many people cannot afford good health care in Mexico, while seven in every ten said waiting times to get an appointment with doctors are too long. According to the same survey, approximately 28 percent of respondents believed that the quality of the Mexican health care system is either good or very good.
