In a brand evaluation released in May 2024, among the top 500 Chinese companies, the banking, media, and technology sectors contributed to over 40 percent of the total brand value. TikTok or Douyin, ICBC, and State Grid Corporation of China were the most valuable Chinese brands according to the brand evaluation.
