Opinions on alcohol policy in Finland 2024, by age group
According to the 2024 survey, 57 percent of respondents in Finland considered the Finnish alcohol policy appropriate. In recent years, the share of Finnish respondents who support the current alcohol policy has steadily increased. 60 percent of the respondents aged 18 to 24 years supported the current legislation, whereas the corresponding figure for respondents aged 25 to 34 years was 54 percent. In contrast, 18 percent of respondents aged over 65 years said that the Finnish alcohol policy should be stricter.
