This survey represents the channels where parents purchase books for their children in the United Kingdom (UK) in 2017. 41 percent of the parents state that they mainly purchase books online for their children, for example via Amazon or via the publisher's website. 21 percent claim to buy most books in a chain bookstore, while 11 percent prefer to do it in an independent bookstore. 18 percent buy books for their children in a supermarket.
