Case New Holland (which consists of New Holland, Case IH and Steyr) earned almost one quarter of the market, while AGCO (Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson and Valtra) won more than one fifth of tractor sales in Europe in 2015. The biggest single brand in Europe, John Deere, rounded off the podium with 18.62 percent of the market.

The data collected represents 141,682 tractors in 22 European countries. The latest figures for the total size of the European market indicate 169,500 tractors. The study represents about 84 percent of the European market. However, the main countries in terms of volume are present in the analysis.
The countries included in this data are: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom. The source reports that more than 37 brands of tractors were included in this survey, but for the sake of simplicity, grouped every brand which achieved less than 1,000 unit sales into the "Others" category.
