Leading appliance brands on Facebook in Italy 2021
As of March 2021, Bimby Italia was the home appliance brand with the most fans on Facebook in Italy. The kitchen robot, known outside of Italy as Thermomix, boasted 740 thousand fans. GA.MA Professional Italy came second in the ranking of the home appliances brands with approximately 292 thousand Facebook fans in the country.

In 2018, Italians spent around 7.3 billion euros on household appliances. The home appliance industry is divided into two categories: large domestic appliances and small domestic appliances. The first category includes large machines used at home, such as, washing machines, freezers and dishwashers. This sector reached a market value of more than three billion euros in Italy in 2019. The second category includes products such as coffee machines, food processors and hairdryers, to name a few, and reached a market value of approximately 1.5 billion euros in Italy in 2019.
