In 2011, roughly 1.6 billion liters of soft drinks were consumed in the Netherlands. In 2020, this had decreased to approximately 1.3 billion liters. For a more detailed picture, this statistic shows the per capita consumption of soft drinks in the Netherlands in the same period, form a different source. It shows that the Dutch drank roughly 94 liters of soft drinks in 2018. They are particularly fond of Coca Cola and Coca Coca Light. According to this survey on the preferred soft drinks in the Netherlands, approximately half of the Dutch taking part in the survey named Cola as their favorite soft drink. Orange sodas were less popular among the respondents.
