Music industry revenue in Sweden 2009-2023
The revenue of the Swedish music market increased during the past ten years, reaching approximately 2.18 billion Swedish kronor in 2023. Over the last years digital music has been growing due to a wide range of new platforms. As of 2023, the digital music revenue in Sweden grew significantly from roughly 141 million Swedish kronor in 2009 to over two billion Swedish kronor in 2023. Streaming accounted for more than 90 percent of the total music sales revenue in 2023.
