The expenditure of international visitors in Belize plummeted to a little over 300 million Belize dollars in 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic's impact on global tourism. In the previous two years, the inbound visitors' spending in the Central American country had surpassed one billion Belize dollars.
