The German low-cost carrier (LCC), Eurowings, was the world's most punctual LCC in 2022, with 95.26 percent of all flights departing less than 15 minutes later than their scheduled time. Thailand's Thai AirAsia ranked second with 92.33 percent on-time arrival performance.
Most punctual low cost carriers worldwide in 2022, ranked by on-time performance
On-time arrival performance is defined as the number of flights that arrived or departed less than 15 minutes later than scheduled as a share of the total number of flights. Cancellations are also included within the OTP calculations and are counted as late flights.
