Cinema attendance in Chile 2014-2022
In 2022, movie theaters across Chile sold approximately 18.2 million tickets, up from 6.4 million a year earlier – an increase of 184 percent. Despite the annual growth, the 2021 figure amounted to 62 percent of the attendance of over 29 million reported in 2019, before the pandemic. Chile recorded the sixth-highest cinema attendance in Latin America in 2022.
