NCAA television and licensing rights revenue 2012-2027
The NCAA generates significant revenue from its television and licensing rights agreement with CBS and Turner Broadcasting System Inc., which runs from 2010 through 2027. In its 2022 fiscal year, the NCAA generated 870 million U.S. dollars in revenue from television broadcast payments and licensing rights. Over the term of the contract the multimedia and marketing rights payments will reach a total of almost 10.55 billion U.S. dollars.
