HIV/AIDS program funding is critical to ending the U.S. epidemic and caring for people living with HIV/AIDS. The U.S. has a well established budget that offers funding for health services through a variety of programs. As of 2023 the National Institutes of Health received the largest distribution of the federal discretionary budget for HIV/AIDS some 3.3 billion of the 7.7 billion U.S. dollars in HIV discretionary spending.
