A 2023 survey conducted in the United Kingdom (UK) found that 43 percent of male social media users and 38 percent of female social media users felt there was a lack of clarity about how content controls work. Additionally, 41 percent of men thought that there was too much technical language, as did 43 percent of women. Over half of all respondents reported that the information provided around content control on social networks was too long.
