In 2022, 25 percent of the content available on video-on-demand (VOD) platforms registered in Portugal was related to films and series, while another 25 percent belonged only to the cinematographic theme. This means that 50 percent of all VOD content in the country was made up by films and series. Generalist content occupied 15 percent of the content on these platforms.
