Balance of trade in agricultural products in Turkey 2017-2022
Between 2017 and 2020, the trade balance of agricultural product imports and exports in Turkey exhibited positive values, meaning that Turkey was an exporter country of agricultural products. However, from 2021 and onward, the trade balance of these products changed and the value of agricultural imports exceeded exports. In 2022, agricultural exports were valued at nearly 10.6 billion U.S. dollars, which indicated a trade surplus of 2.31 billion U.S. dollars.
