Secondhand smoke exposure MENA 2019, by country
In 2019, the West Bank and Gaza had the highest rate of exposure to secondhand smoking in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region at about 50.5 percent. Most countries in the region had a rate of secondhand smoke exposure between 40 and 50 percent. Oman had the least share of secondhand smoke exposure amongst its' population at about 30 percent.
