As of 2021, RTP, the state-owned Portuguese media conglomerate, recorded a total revenue of more than 222 million euros, which increased to 229 million euros in the following year. The great majority of this amount was due to audiovisual contributions, at a share of 80 percent in 2022. Advertising revenues constituted 10 percent of RTP's revenue for the year.
