Penetration rate of news podcasts among internet users in Latin America 2021

During a survey conducted in selected Latin American countries at the beginning of 2021, around 40 percent of consumers surveyed in Bolivia said they listened to news podcasts. In Mexico and Chile, the share stood at 36 and 35 percent, respectively. Meanwhile, between 40 and 67 percent of listeners surveyed in Latin America said they consumed podcasts dedicated to music in early 2021.
