Reddit, which was launched in 2005, is a social media and discussion platform known for its engaged communities, called subreddits. Not many of the communities or "subreddits" on the platform are closed - therefor they can be accessed by unregistered users. In December 2023, the news aggregator and social platform counted over two billion visits to its website.
