In 2022, the gross value added (GVA) of the information technology (IT) segment in Russia was 1.9 trillion Russian rubles, the highest of any segment within the information and communications technology (ICT) industry. Wholesale of ICT-related goods generated the least, at approximately 260 billion Russian rubles. The total GVA of the ICT industry in Russia increased from 3.7 trillion Russian rubles in 2021 to 4.2 trillion Russian rubles in 2022.
