Metaverse description according to U.S. gamers 2021
A November 2021 survey of gamers in the United States found that when trying to describe the metaverse, about seven in ten respondents settled on a definition of that included a combination of multiple elements of technology, including virtual reality, augmented reality and video where users lived within a virtual world. Only 28 percent of respondents felt that "an infinitely scaling virtual space with its own economy and identity system" was an applicable description.
