This according to survey results that compared different payment methods at offline payment locations only. Cash on delivery - a popular e-commerce payment method in several countries in Africa - is therefore not included in this overview. Our model contains a detailed breakdown of payment methods used when shopping online and at point of sale, which were sourced from GlobalData’s Consumer Payments Insights survey, FIS internal data and other public sources."
