U.S. rolling stock capital expenses 2003-2018
In 2018, the total rolling stock capital expenditures of the United States were equal to close to six billion U.S. dollars. This is a year-on-year rise of about 6.4 percent compared to 2017 expenses. Buses were the leading rolling stock type in the country, amounting to around 57.1 percent of the 2018 expenses.
