At the same time, Gaminator Casino Slots was the highest grossing mobile game with a revenue of 234 thousand U.S. dollars.
Leading mobile apps
Vinted: Sell Vintage Clothes was the leading free mobile application as of March 2023, counting more than 215 thousand downloads. Over the same time period, TikTok was downloaded approximately 130 thousand times, which made it second in the ranking. At the same time, Google One was the highest grossing mobile application in the country with a revenue of nearly 373 thousand U.S. dollars.
Online activities using smartphones
According to the findings of a survey conducted among Hungarians in 2021, the most popular online activities when using smartphones were browsing the internet, messaging, and checking the weather forecast, carried out by nearly 80 percent of respondents, respectively. Moreover, 74 percent of survey participants sent and received e-mails and used social media on their smartphones.
