Average size of households in Egypt 2017-2025
Based on forecasts, households in Egypt had an average size of 3.59 members in 2021. From 2017 onwards, the average number of people living in the same households in the country declined slightly year by year. This was in line with the several campaigns conducted by the governments to control population growth. Moreover, further forecasts by the source indicated that the average household size is expected to drop even more in the next years, reaching 3.45 members.
