Kitchen rearrangement wishes during containment in France 2020, by age group
Within French households, the kitchen is generally considered as a central room in the family life. Yet it seems that this conception has been reinforced by the restrictions implemented to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. French people, compelled to stay at home, have spent more time in their kitchen, and some of them have made or intended to make changes to it during containment. This is particularly true for the 18-24 year olds, an age group in which a third people said they intended to do so, and 15 percent had already done so.
