In 2021, Siemens AG reported owning total assets worth almost 140 billion euros. Compared with the previous year, this represented an increase of some 16 billion euros in total assets. The decrease in assets in 2020 was due to the company's decision to merge two of its energy divisions into an independent company Siemens Energy AG in April 2020.
