Latin America and the Caribbean: maize imports value 2016-2022
In 2022, maize or corn imports in Latin America and the Caribbean attained a value of more than 22 billion U.S. dollars, up from 13.87 billion dollars recorded a year earlier. During the last year analyzed, the region experienced a corn trade surplus of close to 8.5 billion dollars.
