Internet usage rate in Romania 2016-2022, by age group
Internet usage in Romania is characterized by a gap between generations. In other words, while the internet usage rate for people between 16 and 34 years old was 98 percent in 2022, their parents and grandparents who belong to the age group from 55 to 74 years old had a usage rate of 72 percent, although this gap is closing fast, in 2016 it was only 34 percent.
