According to a survey on mobile dating apps conducted by Rakuten Insight in February 2022, approximately 71 percent of the Indonesian respondents stated that they had not used mobile dating apps. The same survey found that the main reason why they had not used mobile dating apps was because they thought that such apps were not suited to Indonesian culture.
