Share of G20 public money payments for energy industry after COVID 2021, by sector
The majority of governmental funding by G20 countries is pledged to fossil fuel-affiliated organizations and companies. Meanwhile, 35.5 percent of all public money aimed at helping the energy industry recover following the devastating coronavirus pandemic is going into the clean energy sector. Most aid for clean energy is conditional. India's government has pledged the largest amount of public money to the energy industry.
