In 2022, it was found that approximately 92 percent of Spanish citizens believed that the seasonal influenza vaccine is safe, with 90 percent also believing the vaccine is important for children to have. In Spain, faith in the seasonal flu vaccine was also high, as 86 percent of respondents thought the flu vaccine was important, and 89 percent thought it was safe. On the other hand, only around half of respondents in Latvia and Slovakia agreed that the seasonal flu vaccine is important for children.

Data shows the share of respondents in each country agreeing with the statements: 'The seasonal influenza vaccine is important for children to have' and 'The seasonal influenza vaccine is safe.'
