According to a survey on urban mobility, half of the private car users had considered carpooling in India in 2019. Over 40 percent of those respondents were willing to go to work everyday by carpooling. Influencing more people to carpool to work could encourage car users to adapt to more sustainable alternatives and in-turn reduce the effect of climate change.
