According to a report published in 2019, almost 50 percent of surveyed Kenyans said that they listened to music for between one and two hours per day, compared to 38.2 percent of adults in Ghana. Consumption frequency was highest in South Africa, where the majority of respondents said that they listened to music for three or more hours each day.
