Attendance at domestic movies in Paraguay 2014-2021
In 2021, attendance at domestic films in Paraguay reached 10 thousand – two-thirds more than in the previous year. Despite the annual growth, the 2021 figure amounted to less than 15 percent of the domestic movie ticket sales reported in 2019, before the pandemic. Paraguay had one of the lowest numbers of cinema screens in Latin America in 2021.
