In 2018, Italy exported pasta, couscous and similar products to Western Europe for a total value of 1,077 million euros, according to data provided by Prometeia. The other markets Italy exported these products to were less relevant: the reported value of pasta and similar products exported to NAFTA countries reached 266 million euros, while Asia and new EU countries followed with 143 and 90 million euros, respectively.
