Swedish as a Foreign Language
At the Centre for Languages and Literature courses in Swedish as a beginner's language are available for different groups of people. We have courses for regular students, exchange students and staff at Lund University. Here at the centre, you can also take the Tisus test, Test in Swedish for university studies, recognised by all the universities in Sweden as a statement of eligibility regarding Swedish language proficiency.
Our different courses - which one suits you best?
- Freestanding beginner's courses (7.5 credits), level 1, 2, 3, 4: SVEH11-SVEH14
- Freestanding beginner's course (60 credits), level 1-8: SFSH60
- Freestanding courses (30 or 7.5 credits) level 5-8: SFSH30, SFSH31, SVEH15-SVEH18
- Introduction in Swedish for exchange students (3 credits): SUSA
- Beginner's courses in Swedish for exchange students (7.5 credits): SVEE / EXTA
- TISUS-testet (Test i svenska för universitets- och högskolestudier)
- LU staff courses
