Databases can be used to find scientific literature. You can select several databases on the basis of the topic of your search question and the type of publications that you are looking for.
- Use RUQuest or Google Scholar in the orientation phase.
- Use subject-specific databases if you have already formulated your research question. You can find these in the subject area guides.
Structured search support
A structured search will help you to find relevant literature for your research question. This type of search requires specific knowledge and skills. The following assistance is available from the University Library:
- Choose from our e-learning modules and complete them in your own time and at your own pace.
- Register for a workshop and take the opportunity to ask questions.
- Make an appointment with your faculty Library Information Point if you require individual support.
